Have you ever attended a weekend or one day continuing education course and come out with your head spinning?
Our program is different because each class meets once a week over 10 to 13 weeks, so that each student can absorb and practice their new skills with confidence.
Reflexology Class
This is a 40 hour continuing education course in reflexology of the foot. Theory, hands-on practice of holistic reflexology techniques and basic Anatomy and Physiology topics that are associated with Reflexology are part of the curriculum. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate for continuing education hours.
Objectives:
- Learn hands-on holistic reflexology techniques
- History of reflexology
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Benefits and contraindication
- Development/understanding of physical, mental and spiritual healing (body/mind connection)

Prerequisite: Certified in Massage Therapy or Bodywork
Total Hours: 40 Hours

Class Meets on: Tuesday Evenings Times: 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
or Friday Morning: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Therapeutic Massage for Athletes (Sports Massage)
This is a 50 hour continuing education course of intensive training is dedicated to working with the athlete before, during and after training and competition. We will discuss theory and history, preventative, curative and emergency treatments. The classes are divided between theory and practical experience. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate for continuing education hours.
Objectives:
- Learn hands-on Sports Massage techniques
- Benefits and contraindication of Sports Massage
- Advanced stretching techniques for the athlete
- Preventative, curative and emergency procedures
Homework: May include field trip to work on athletes at running/sports events

Prerequisite: Certified in Massage Therapy or concurrently enrolled
