Reflexology Class - Philosophy & Objectives
The School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology combines a variety of techniques which embrace physical, mental and spiritual healing. Our goal is to incorporate these techniques while offering students friendly and fun classrooms. The hands-on training given by our experienced instructors helps to build confidence and prepare the student for their chosen career path.
It is our goal to present each class in a friendly, non-threatening environment while dedicating personal attention to each student.
Reflexology Class
This is a 125 hour certification course in reflexology of the foot. Theory, hands-on practice of holistic reflexology techniques and basic Anatomy and Physiology topics that are associated with Reflexology are part of the curriculum. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate in Reflexology. |
Objectives:
- Learn hands-on holistic reflexology techniques
- History of reflexology
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Benefits and contraindication
- Development/understanding of physical, mental and spiritual healing (body/mind connection)
Homework:
- 8-9 hours per week outside of class will be devoted to training and homework, including the practice of reflexology techniques on other individuals. Critic sheets will be required to be filled out and signed by those you practice on. A final clinic with clients may be held during the final weeks of class.
